The Bedens Brook Club

The Bedens Brook Club is a Dick Wilson classic—set on a rolling landscape defined by natural water hazards, signature bunkering, and timeless green complexes.

Each nine offers a distinct view and strategy: the front nine plays through open, undulating fairways, while the back nine provides a sterner test through the woods. Together, they form a traditional Wilson layout—equal parts beauty and challenge.

In 2021, The Bedens Brook Club commissioned acclaimed architect Andrew Green to lead a masterful restoration of Dick Wilson’s iconic design. Green’s celebrated work embodies the timeless legacy of Golden Age architecture, making him the ideal steward for this exciting new chapter.

Tommy Fleetwood, PGA Tour winner and Ryder Cup stalwart, holds the course record at The Bedens Brook Club with a remarkable 61 (-11).

About Dick Wilson
Dick Wilson

Dick Wilson helped define post-war championship golf—matching Robert Trent Jones Sr. course-for-course—by building bold, aerial tests with elevated greens, dramatic bunkering, and decisive risk-reward lines. His “design signature” favored deep, amoeba-like bunkers guarding pitched greens, strategic water, and famous “runway” tee boxes that stretch down the line of play. Wilson’s shaping was often restrained—giving many courses a traditional look while still demanding crisp, committed iron play. Strategic angles and thoughtful contouring ensured that every approach required careful calculation. The result was championship golf that was exacting without excess—architectural theater grounded in timeless strategy.
